AMHW Counsellor
Hello, I’m Neymat (she/her)
I am passionate about working with adults (18 and above) facing concerns with dealing with their mental well-being and/or addiction-related challenges, low self-esteem, relational conflicts, unhealthy relationship dynamics, coping with change, managing rejection and hopelessness, and caregiving for a loved one.
I am also passionate about working with clients who face political, social, and economic stress and concerns regarding what is happening locally and/or globally.
I believe in keeping an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and intersectional lens as the basis of my work. I welcome clients from diverse walks of life, cultures, and experiences. I aim to create a warm and welcoming space where you feel valued and safe to discuss all that you are dealing with and hope to achieve from our time together.
I have experience working with school students, parents, and educators to enhance social-emotional learning skills among school-going students..
I believe in working with the best approach to suit your needs and goals, and offer a safe, compassionate, and empowering space.
You will be heard, understood, and kept at the centre of our work together.
