This vision is encapsulated in the MNO&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.metisnation.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/03\/mno-sopp-2015.pdf\"><em>Statement of Prime Purpose<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The statement is a fundamental document for the MNO and it sets out why the MNO was formed, who MNO represents, and what the MNO wants to achieve. The statement has been central to the MNO\u2019s success for three decades.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/claritycounsellingservices.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/jp.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1892\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>Jordan&#8217;s Principle makes sure all First Nations children living in Canada can access the products, services and supports they need, when they need them. Funding can help with a wide range of health, social and educational needs, including the unique needs that First Nations Two-Spirit and LGBTQQIA children and youth and those with disabilities may have.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jordan&#8217;s Principle is named in memory of Jordan River Anderson. He was a young boy from Norway House Cree Nation in Manitoba.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requests for Inuit children can be made through the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sac-isc.gc.ca\/eng\/1536348095773\/1536348148664\">Inuit Child First Initiative<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><br><\/strong>\u200b<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.33%\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/claritycounsellingservices.ca\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/wsib.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-1866\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:66.66%\">\n<p>Our vision is to make Ontario one of the healthiest and safest places to work. A big part of that effort is the support we provide to people who have suffered a work-related injury or illness. We help them as they recover and safely return to work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We\u2019re here to help.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We provide wage-loss benefits, medical coverage and support to help people get back to work after a work-related injury or illness.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are funded by premiums paid by Ontario businesses.
