Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)

Hi, I’m Robyn (she/her)
As a trauma-informed and strengths-based therapist, I focus on creating a safe, supportive space where you feel seen, heard, and accepted just as you are. I hold space with gentle curiosity, empathy, and non-judgment.
I believe that everyone deserves to experience secure, nurturing relationships—and therapy can be a place to begin building that sense of safety.
I work with clients aged 10 older, including youth, teens, adults, and couples. My goal is to support you in understanding yourself more deeply, making sense of your life experiences, and finding ways to move forward with greater clarity and ease. Together, we’ll work to lighten some of life’s burdens while building tools to help you cope, connect, and thrive.
Therapy with me begins with curiosity—with an intentional process of getting to know you: your story, your nervous system, your strengths, and your hopes. Our early sessions help me get a sense of how things are running for you right now and what might need care or attention. From there, we’ll co-create a personalized approach that fits you, grounded in compassion and collaboration.
Life isn’t always easy—and it’s even harder when we feel like we’re carrying the weight of it alone. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, grief, perfectionism, relationship struggles, or just trying to make sense of who you are in this season of life, I’m here to walk alongside you.
I’m especially passionate about helping people explore how past experiences, especially those tied to family, loss, unrealistic expectations, or old patterns, shape who we are today. I believe in the power of understanding our own story as a way of reclaiming it. For younger clients, I also love to incorporate elements of play, movement, and creativity into sessions when it’s helpful.
In our work together, I may draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches including CBT, DBT, ACT, and Attachment-Based Therapy. I’ll help you recognize unhelpful patterns, understand your emotions, and learn how to regulate your nervous system. When appropriate, I can also include loved ones in sessions to support communication and connection.
My Background:
I hold an Honours Degree in Behavioural Psychology and bring over a decade of experience in both individual and group therapy settings. I’ve worked in outpatient day programs, and had the privilege of learning alongside multidisciplinary teams, including Psychologists, Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and fellow Psychotherapists. Currently, I’m completing my Master’s in Counselling Psychology and fulfilling a clinical practicum at Clarity Counselling Services.
Above all, I want you to know that you don’t have to have it all figured out to begin. I’m here to meet you wherever you are, with authenticity, care, and a deep respect for your journey. Therapy isn’t about perfection—it’s about showing up and exploring, which leads to learning and growth. Let’s take the first step together.
