Suzie specializes in working with teens and adults who are struggling with trauma, PTSD, or addiction. She is also passionate about supporting mental health for first responders, caregivers, and individuals affected by a loved one’s substance use.
Dedicated to helping clients process their challenging experiences and find relief, Suzie is trained in effective, evidence-based trauma treatment methods, including:
• EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
• Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
• Integrative Trauma and Attachment Treatment Model (ITATM)
Suzie can also provide assessments and screening, including GAIN-SS, GAIN-Q3, OCAN to help clients access residential treatment for addiction.
Clients often seek Suzie’s support for: grief, depression, anxiety, managing stress or burnout, coping with change or transitions (whether personal or work-related), and personal development (setting and reaching meaningful goals).
Suzie welcomes clients receiving assistance from WSIB and offers direct billing for these services.
With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, Suzie has provided compassionate support to a diversity of clients seeking support with a range of concerns or goals. She is also a proud ally of the LGBTQ2S+ community.
While taking a collaborative approach, Suzie offers a wealth of techniques and practical strategies to resource and empower her clients so that they can see the benefits of therapy in their everyday lives.
